We successfully executed a comprehensive project to connect the water network from Al Ghayl New Water Distribution Center (WDC) to Madam WDC, laying nearly 60 kilometres of DI pipelines with diameters ranging from 600mm to 1200mm along with certain GRP and GRE piping works.
The project included a separate tap-off near Showka WDC to supply potable water to SEWGA, delivering 24 MIG per day. Our scope encompassed the execution of 10 Non Destructive Road Crossings covering nearly 530 meters, along with the provision of 70 valve chambers. We also managed extensive electrical works, including RTU and instrumentation, LV power and control cables, illumination, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
Additionally, we installed essential field instrumentation such as electromagnetic flowmeters, motorized valves, pressure transmitters, pressure gauges, and level switches. Achieving 1 million safe man-hours during the execution of this project is an important milestone that we are always proud of.
