A significant expansion project was undertaken at the Abu Dhabi International Airport to enhance its existing infrastructure and facilities. The scope of this comprehensive project included several key components:
- Demolition and Refurbishment: Refurbished existing structures and demolished four buildings to create space for new developments.
- New Building Construction: Designed and constructed six new buildings to support airport operations.
- Fuel System Upgrades: Installed six fuel hydrant pumps and constructed five double-wall underground tanks for secure fuel storage.
- Utility and Equipment Installations: Conducted extensive piping, electrical, instrumentation, and control work, along with civil and structural enhancements.
- Architectural and Safety Improvements: Upgraded architectural features, installed firefighting systems, CCTV, fire alarms, and enhanced site landscaping.
- Road and Infrastructure Enhancements: Built new roads, upgraded existing ones, and implemented advanced sewerage, drainage, oil-water separation, stormwater, and water supply systems.
